TWO STEPS!
Yes maam! There will be TWO “Next Step” Workshops in
2015. One in the northeast and one in
the northern midwest.
For those that are not familiar with
the “Next Step” Workshop, each time we host it I have a different co-instructor
(or two) with me. We are always covering new material and also working to hone
our skills in stage performance and clear, comedic ministry material. Fact is, these two workshops will be
different from each other, covering about 1/3 of the same material. The other 2/3rds
will only be offered at the one location. (Yep, that’s “how I roll.”) This is one of the reasons that some Next
Step attendees come back time after time.
Attendance is limited to the first 15 registrants. We keep this up close and personal focused on your needs with personal coaching and small group work.
Both workshops will start on a
Wednesday afternoon (3:00) and conclude at 1:00 on Sunday.
The cost for this 5 day training is
$375. Housing is an additional cost at each location. Most of your meals will
be provided.
Next Step – Northeast
Our host for this workshop in
upstate New York is Barb Field. All
activities and housing will be at the Calvary Hill Retreat Center on April
8-12, 2015.
I’m THRILLED to have “professional
goofball,” Don B!, as my co-instructor. Don is former Ringling Brothers and
Barnum & Bailey circus clown, Disneyland performer and two-time national
unicycle champion. He brings the fun! I don’t know that I know a more
meticulous performer with great insights and skills including close-up magic,
juggling, and practical ministry experience. Don has been doing ministry
programs (and secular) full-time for over 25 years. He’s been the featured
children’s performer at some of the largest churches in America and also with
the Franklin Graham crusade team. Don is one of those “hidden gems” that you
won’t see at many conferences or conventions. And, he’s with us in New York to

I’m also happy to be able
to invite everyone over to the studio at my house during our “Next Step” time. And.....BIG NEWS....my WIFE will be doing the cooking. (...and past attendees know how awesome that really is!)
Back by popular demand, my co-instructor will be former RBBB clown and trainer, Jeff McMullen. Jeff is a college instructor, motivational
speaker, and certified karate coach. Jeff is a distinguised graduate of the
Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College and, in his earlier
days, toured nationally with the circus. Jeff also has represented McDonald's
restaurants as part of its personality-based marketing programs.
In 1989, he was asked to serve as an instructor/curriculum
developer for the Clown College's history-making founding session in Japan. In
1991, he became the star performer and Director of Western Entertainment at
Reoma World, in Southern Japan. Jeff brings great insights on the business of clowning, along with comedy insights and age-appropriate physicality. More information
