Next Step 2009 Registration & Housing


Yes, ladies and gentlemen. I will be hosting the Next Step workshop on November 4-9, 2009 in Willmar, MN. This is for folks that are wanting to make the "Next Step" in their clown ministry presentations.

We will focus on:
1. developing strong ministry material
2. excellence in stage presentation
3. depth of character
4. connecting with an audience on an emotional level
5. working with volunteers
6. Mime-based physical movement
7. creativity

We work together on various exercises while coached by the professional staff. We also take time to view and coach individual performances. Our goal is to help you do better and be better!
The Next Step also includes various spiritual and biblical insights to help you become a better clown MINISTER. That's also part of being better.

I have prepared a registration form plus other information for those who desire to attend. Email me and I'll send it out to you.
The registration cost is $350 per person. A $50 credit is given to returning Next Step alumni. You may reserve your place by sending $75. Cancellations less than two weeks in advance and you lose your $75.

The hotel that many attendees will stay in is the Super 8 Hotel in Willmar. The workshop rate is $49.95 plus tax for November 4-7 (check out on the 8th). Please register under the block of rooms reserved for the Assembly of God Church in Willmar by contacting:

The Super 8 is about ½ mile from the church. Please tell them that you are with Willmar Assembly of God when you make your reservation. (I will not be making this reservation for you.) You may find other housing accomodations if you so desire. There is a Country Inn and Suites right next door to the Super 8. Also, there is a slight possibility I may be able to find a host home or two for those clown ministers who are not able to pay for hotel accomodations.

I'm already excited! At this point in March, I already have 12 clowns who have expressed interest. With only 15 being allowed as attendees we may fill up soon. We'll see.
