Next Step Workshop

One of the highlights of the Next Step Workshop is writing, practicing and performing with other experienced clowns.  Various writing approaches are taught and experienced together.  Then, the routines are rehearsed and coached by quality leaders.

Here is one of the routines developed and performed by the Next Step Clowns from our 2019 workshop in Canton, Michigan. :)  It uses a unique approach pioneered by Julie Goell (wife of Avner Eisenberg) at the Celebration Barn Theater called "flash theater."

Clowns from New York, North Carolina, Indiana, Michigan and Alberta, Canada joined us for five days of work and wonder!  They did a beautiful job connecting with children of all ages in their final presentations on Sunday, November 10th at Connection Church in Canton, Michigan.
