Variety of Input for Clown Growth
During the last two decades I've taught alongside some wonderful clown instructors. At the Next Step I strive to provide quality input to help students find the best way to communicate through their character. I realize that other other instructors and clowns have varying viewpoints. I want opportunity for quality options to be voiced...that's why I don't teach this alone. I've been privileged to have some great clowns teaching at this workshop -- from whom I also continue to learn.
One of the top analytical minds in clowning may be Bruce "Charlie" Johnson. He and I have taught together at various venues including the Next Step Workshop. Bruce was the former Clown Historian for the World Clown Association. He offers a weekly clown educational article titled, "Thought For the Week" which I always find interesting and beneficial.
