Next Step - NorthEast: Adjustment for April 2015
Hey Folks! I'm still excited about the two "Next Step" opportunities that I'm offering in 2015. FYI, we need to make some adjustments for the workshop in New York in April.
We did not consider that the dates and location are very close to the national convention for the Clown of America, International. I think this has affected our registrations. Nonetheless, I'm going to still come out to New York State to share on April 8-10. Here's what we're doing.
We plan to start by having a performance by me on Wednesday night at a local church. We will then gather at the Retreat Center after that for a Wed. night fellowship time. We will start classes on Thursday morning (about 8:45....and we will finish about 8:45 at night...with breaks for food, etc.) We will do the same format on Friday. I fly back to MN on Saturday.
Unfortunately, we are not financially able to bring Don Bursell due to our low registrations.
Since we've cut a our normal "Next Step" format and times, we've also cut the cost.
The cost will be $225 registration plus a bit more for housing at the retreat center (Barb has that info).
In the evenings we will take some time for "coaching" of routines that people are working on.
With our small group, I will also be leading more "intimate" learning experiences that will focus on character development, thought processes, connection with our audiences, comedy and more.
Looking forward to seeing you there! (....and if not in New York, maybe in Minnesota in November!)
