Next Step 2012 Thoughts
November 7-11, 2012 in Minneapolis, Minnesota
This is not your same-old, run-of-the-mill, one hour, buffet selection of beginning level clown classes! This is in-depth, hands on, tutoring and training with a small select group of big-hearted, committed ministry clowns.
I love the Next Step format because of the flexibility we have as we learn together. Please understand, we will plan to start on time for each session. But, we will plan to not end on time for all the sessions. Our desire is to help our participants to work through various concepts and exercises that will really be beneficial. This is not a conference where numerous classes are beginning and ending at the same time. This is a learning opportunity where we can spend some personal time together and really dig into some areas of clowning and clown ministry that we often don’t have time to focus on.
We believe that the “heart of the clown” is truly the key element to effective clowning. We will talk about “heart.”
We also know that clowns who understand and use timeless, historical, comedic principles will receive a great response from their audiences. We will dig into these concepts and techniques.
Lastly, we understand that great clowning has to do with relationship. We’re going to build relationships that will help you move to a whole new level in your clowning.
Only 15 registrants will be allowed and a number of spots have already been reserved. Come join us!
